Meet Our Boarders
Foxwin is pleased to welcome Jeff and Michelle Morrow and their fresh-off-the-track Standardbred Kukoo Kanuku! When Kuku decided that she just didn't want to trot quite as fast as her Tioga Downs track record-setting brother, her trainer decided that she might just be happier as a pleasure horse and offered her to Jeff for his wife, Michelle, who has been looking to get back into horses for a while now. Kuku arrived in mid-August and has settled herself quite happily into the leisurely life of a retired 3 year old! Jeff and Michelle, along with their grand-daughter, Mackenzie, are enjoying getting to know Kuku and watching her relax into post-racing pleasure horse heaven here at Foxwin. Welcome all!

Lena Weaver joined the Foxwin family in December, 2009. A lifelong horsewoman, Lena first came to Foxwin with her Friesian gelding, Rhett. The two trained and cliniced extensively with both Carel Eijkenaar and Michelle Labarre, and enjoyed a full show season together in 2010. As Lena's needs evolved, and Rhett's training advanced, it became clear that the two were not the right pair for each other in the summer of 2011. Lena made the very courageous and difficult decision to move Rhett on to a rider who would better suit him, while she planned to step back and make decisions about her own riding needs. Fate intervened, however, and Lena found both Rhett's new rider and her new horse all in the same trip to Michelle Labarre's in July of 2011! Lena brought home A Colorful Dandy Dee and splashed some paint all over Foxwin Farm! The two can be seen doing pretty much anything together-- English, Western, Trail-- you name it; they're going to try it! Welcome, Dee, and congratulations, Lena!

Welcome to Bren and Ron Resue and their two Friesian geldings,Vanir and Tsjerk (TJ). Avid trail and recreational riders, the Resues return to Foxwin with their young geldings and two grandchildren, Zorya and Sydney and are looking forward to plenty of training, trail riding, regional competition, and perhaps a hunter pace or two! We're happy to have the multi-generational Resue family with us, even if their gentle giants make our biggest Morgans look like ponies!
